Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 15 years
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: 90's extreme metal meets modern production techniques
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Emperor, because of their complex sound. It would be a challenge to make their complex arrangements sound powerful, clear and intelligible without loosing agression.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: 1. Check out the band's previous material to get an idea of their sound 2. Listen to the material to mix or master 3. Make a first mix or master and send to the band 4. Get feedback, make adjustment, send a revised version and repeat until we're all satisfied (5 revisions maximum)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Mac + Logic Pro X + Antelope Discrete 8 SC. Monitoring on Dynaudio BM5A, Yamaha HS50M, Sennheiser HD600, Sony MDR-7506 and Beyer Dynamic DT770.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Pytten from Grieghallen studio, the 70's heavy rock sound (Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, etc), Bowie

A: Natural-sounding but powerful sound
