Drummer, Recordist, Producer

Greetings! My name is Eric Behrenfeld (AKA "Baron"). I can provide drums and hand percussion recordings. I have produced CD's for other artists as well on my Blue Baron Productions indie label. The multi-task music space I work out of is ideal for recording drums, acoustic and electric instruments, along with vocals.

I want creative types that are having me work for them to have memorable, fun and productive song development and recording experiences, achieving their desired artistic goals. The music room I work out of near Chicago's West Town area has a great live sound, and is an ideal room for solo musicians developing and tracking their songs. It is also set up with a vocal booth. I have drums always ready for recording. And for drum lessons too. There is a mixing station set up, and a PA for live playing accommodating up to 3-4 musicians comfortably. If you are looking for a simple to work in, minimalist gear environment, then this is the space for you!

I use Logic Pro X for production and mixing, with projects typically being around 50 audio tracks with my DAW set up at this time. I record in 24 bit, 48 kHz mostly.

I can play drums and percussion for Blues, Country, Americana, Rock, R&B, Pop, Trance, Exotica, Surf and Tropical Rock. I also play some ukulele too!
