Professional singer/songwriter with a degree in commercial songwriting from Belmont University. I can provide you with exceptional lead vocals, background vocals and songwriting over your track. As a perfectionist, I promise to keep working until we have a product we both are very happy with. My voice is unique and has flexibility, with an emphasis on country pop. As a songwriter, I pull from the experiences of myself and others and put my own creative twist and ideas on every project. Interview with Nora Eckler
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I have gone through a lot in my past and can pull from my experiences to add my own twist to every song. I really connect on an emotional level with my clients and listeners, and I would say that is my strongest skill.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I loved being a part of "Letters to Ghosts" by Lucie Silvas. It was SO much fun being in the studio and singing BGVs. I would relive that day over and over again.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am writing for my own EP and trying out a different sound. Hoping to release it this year!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love my job because I am so passionate about my craft and get to do what I love everyday.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I always ask my clients if they have any specific wants for their project and then go from there.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Music has been my life since I was 9 years old. I started writing songs and dragging my parents around to festivals and fairs, and eventually to Nashville. I recorded my first album at 15 and decided to move here to get a degree in Songwriting at Belmont University when I was 18. Since then, I've had so many opportunities here and have learned so much about my industry. I love what I do!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Country with a ton of pop influence
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Vince Gill because I think he is crazy talented, and I am left amazed every time I see him perform.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When it comes to writing, it is always different. Usually, I start by humming a melody and add lyrics to the melody that fit the vibe of the track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work out of a studio in Nashville, TN. It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and the acoustics sound lovely.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do a lot of vocals/BGVs mostly, but I love to write for my clients.
