I am a dynamic, versatile and trained soul/disco/synthpop vocalist with an extensive range who is capable of sultry lows, piercing highs and soulful belting. I released my first single "Fantasies" in 2019 and my next release will be coming out in Winter 2021.
As an up-and-coming recording artist and budding producer, I am working towards my dream of a full-time music career and am looking to expand my portfolio by adding demo and session singing and vocal feature appearances to my resume.

Interview with Rose Corps
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A wireless microphone, my Prophet 6 synthesizer, the TC Helicon Voicelive Touch, Ableton Push and a Tempest drum machine.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been a performer most of my life - I first trained in multiple disciplines of dance, then rediscovered my love for singing and music in college. As a recording artist and DJ, I have been working professionally for three years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My original music is a mix of disco, soul/R&B, and synthpop.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As you can tell, as a vocalist I am predominantly inspired by soul singers and belters. I love soul singers such as Aretha Franklin, Teena Marie, Etta James and Jill Scott, disco queens such as Roisin Murphy and Amy Douglas, icons such as Kate Bush and Freddie Mercury, versatile rockers such as James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers and Shaun Verreault of Wide Mouth Mason, laid back jazzy singers such as Sade and Amber Navran of Moonchild, and soulful talents such as Kimbra, JoJo, Crystal Lewis, Ella Thompson and Amy Winehouse. While I am not a regular listener of their music, I am in awe of the vocal talents of Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato and Jessie J. As I am also a DJ, synth player and budding producer, Little Boots and Jessy Lanza are two of my biggest inspirations as they are able to simultaneously combine careers as both recording artists and DJs.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am looking forward to the release of my next single in winter 2021.I am also beginning to write my first EP alongside working on a monthly DJ mix series.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both have their strengths.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have an incredibly sharp ear.
