Interview with ZEÜS
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I specialize in EDM – influenced by Dance, Deep House, and Pop music. The bpm is typically higher (120-130) in these genres and in most cases the lyrics and melody have to be quite agile. My voice also places very well in Indie and Country. Up for any challenge!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I was trained in classical singing as a youngster, so my lower and upper registers are extremely versatile. Having a countertenor (G3-D5) vocal range allows me to apply an infinite sum of color and harmony to a song. I am a bit of a perfectionist as I pay great attention to detail (before, during, and after recording). As a Master’s in Business grad and Berklee student, I possess a good sense of marketing strategy alongside my songwriting and emotional creativity. I enjoy giving back and often devote my streaming proceeds to good causes. As a Canadian-American, I accept diversity and will treat your music as if it were my own.
