Interview with Bri Fletcher
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My most recent project was a song I wrote for the non-profit I run. It's an anti bullying assembly called "Debully". We perform songs for middle schools all over and speak to kids about both sides of bullying and how to stop this tragic movement that is so quickly taking lives of young kids around us. The song I wrote is called "Legacy" and it goes into how everything we say and do is in the universe forever and that is what we leave behind after we are gone. And even though we can't change our past we can let it determine our future by always trying to be better and grow stronger and stand for what is right.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is that I will always give 100% to any project I work on.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Do your research! Listen to the previous artwork titles and see if their style is what you are looking for. Also, always look for someone who responds professionally.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is pretty unique. My vocals can range from Carrie Underwood power house to Ariana Grande falsetto.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: It is my dream to work with either Kelly Clarkson or Ryan Tedder. Kelly is one of the best vocalist (and humans) of all time and Ryan is the best songwriter of our generation.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: My best tip is if you are stuck on a decision to take a break from the project. Put yourself into a different scene where you can step away from the project and focus on something else so when you come back to it you have a clear and new mindset.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on anything from country, pop, electric, and soul music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is obviously my voice and singing but I also am super timely in completing projects. I don't waste time and usually can complete projects quickly.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring extreme passion first off. I absolutely love being a part of the process of a song. But most importantly I bring talent and hard work. I never submit anything that I don't think is 100% ready so do my best to make sure I present and perform well.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I love to be super organized and have an outline of the project I am working on. I like to start with a fresh outlook on every song I work on and bring something unique to the table.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a small home studio set up with Logic Pro that is great for tracking vocals.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Musicians that inspire me are Kelly Clarkson, Ryan Tedder, Rascal Flatts, Kelsea Balerini, Maren Morris, and Dan + Shay. I absolutely love Nicolle Gaylon, Ryan Tedder, and Kacey Musgrave's writing styles!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I can do vocal demos and songwriting.
