I like to focus on music with raw elements. I can Mix and Master-Lite as many tracks as needed, with as many revisions as needed to make your songs sound great. I do this for fun and the love of the music. Each project is a chance to help an artist make their recording into a song and their is no greater feeling than playing back the track after its done and the artist is happy. If nothing else know, I have the song's best interest in heart.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

I've been Mixing on and off for almost 10 years now. Done work at some studios, did some time in live Community Radio, ran live sound here and there, and managed a number of stages at festivals. Now i am starting to focus on Mixing records in my humble home studio as I start to build a craft. For what it's worth, I have a piece of paper that says I have a B.F.A. in Audio Production.

I've had Cork mix and master another track and I'm really happy with the finished sound. I definitely recommend cork to anyone who needs a mix or mastering engineer for any kind of rock.

  4. A: I am new to the community but it looks like it is full of great engineers.

  5. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  6. A: Are you any good? -I'll let my work speak for itself.

  7. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  8. A: I always have new tracks loaded with the faders up.

  9. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: Analog for the Sound | Digital for the Budget

  11. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  12. A: I promise to serve the music.

  13. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  14. A: I just love being a part of the music industry, helping do my part to bring great music into the world

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: You can't always fix it in the mix. Remember the mixing engineers job is to polish and shine but its just going to reveal whats underneath (good or bad)

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What are some of your favorite influences (specific to their instrument)? or What are some songs you would be comfortable with putting on a playlist next to your music.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Trust your ears. Be sure the profesional you pick shares your vision of the music

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My AKG k 272 Headphones

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: I prefer a raw style to the music I work with. I do not auto-tune or do any fancy chopping and spinning or what-have-you. I enjoy loud guitars and real drums.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: It would be killer to work with the King Gizzard guys. They are just so creative and their style is so diverse, working on a record of their would be a fun challenge.

  27. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  28. A: Mostly Rock with a preference towards Garage Rock and Psych Rock

  29. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  30. A: Having a vision is key to making sure the mix get to the finish line.

  31. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  32. A: I have a wide taste in music and with each project can pull inspiration from a lifetime of great music.

  33. Q: What's your typical work process?

  34. A: My ideal session would be me doing an rehearsal room multi-track recording where the band plays LIVE. Then with the main track recorded live do a few passes of overdubs (vocal , solos, etc) Then spend a couple days mixing the record. As a practice i provide a "running" master on all work so that you have a competitive level on your mix right away.

  35. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  36. A: The boys in King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard are always so inspiring with their steady work effort and varied style.

  37. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  38. A: My most common projects are a standard mix, usually of a few different tracks recorded separately in someone's bedroom or a recorded live set from the band's rehearsal space

  39. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  40. A: I earned my Bachelors in Audio Production in 2014 and have been working on an off every since. I interned at Clear Track Studios in Clearwater, FL and at WMNF 88.5 Tampa.

  41. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  42. A: Spend time working with the bands tones and carve out EQ sections for each member of the band. Guitars and keys can be especially overwhelming if they are play a full spectrum of sound all at the same time. Also cut tones before you add tones.

  43. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  44. A: As of now I am in the box using Pro Tools and Logic Pro. I am using an iMac with MBox interface, with Tannoy Reveal 501a Studio Monitors. For headphones i have a pair of AKG K272HD.
