Production, Mixing and Engineering with 20 years experience

Matthew Twaites is a Producer, Mixing Engineer and Sound Engineer from the UK. Matthew started his career as the Bass Player in Mercury Music Prize nominated band The Electric Soft Parade in 2001.

Following his passion for all things recorded, Matthew started working as an engineer in Brighton's Metway Studios, and became heavily involved in the production and mixing of the local music scene, as well as playing in many key Brighton bands of the 2000s.

A move to London brought new opportunities as Matthew embarked on building a studio with Mystery Jets and engineering and producing their acclaimed fifth album 'Curve Of The Earth'. Other artists that Matthew also worked as an engineer for Miloco Studios engineering sessions by numerous artists such as Lily Allen and The Saturdays.

Now located in Stroud, Matthew works from his home studio setup, Producing and Mixing both remotely and in person, as well as lecturing in Music Production.

Matthew's specialities are broad with many years experience in studios of all shapes and sizes. He is deeply passionate about the sound of records, and will work with you to achieve the production and mixes that you desire. He loves to collaborate and empower artists to push themselves and make the best music possible.
