I'm a session guitarist based out of Windsor, Ontario specializing in classic/progressive rock, modern pop/rock and jazz. I have a Masters from the Berklee College of Music in Contemporary Performance with a focus on Studio Production. I enjoy both the recording process as well as the mixing process.
I am available to record various electric guitars including Les Paul, Telecaster, Semi-Hollow as well as steel string and nylon string acoustics. I also have experience in studio production with mixing tracks in a range of styles using Pro Tools. Wether you need guitars on your song or prepared tracks mixed I have the professional tools needed.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
Interview with Tyler Sasso
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I primarily use digital products however I try to use analog simulators within plugins if they are available to add some warmth to a recording if necessary.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a guitar/MIDI piano ready home studio. I use Pro Tools 11 as my main DAW paired up with a MBox Pro 3 firewire interface. I have a range of great sounding plugins from companies such as Waves, iZotope, Slate Digital, and Air among others. I also use Tannoy Reveal 502 studio monitors and Sure and Apex microphones.
