Former Guitar player that now has turn to mixing and mastering
I have played guitar in a lot of metalbands since the start of the 80:s. Held up the bandplaying a little while and started to write songs insted.
Today I am a freelancer mixer engineer, Master engineer and songwriter. Working in my homestudio with Pro Tools.
When i am not writing songs i do some sound design too.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A new young talent her in Sweden. Marcus Lundin. He is a singer/songwriter. He writes songs with his guitar and sing in Swedish.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes. There is several good mixer here.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Because today plugins are so good. And I can give my clients the some result digital and can there for charge then less then I would have if I went with Analog.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my best to give them what there are looking for.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Music. Just Music in all forms. I love music.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Are you any good at that you do? My answer is always, Yes. Because i know when i cant reach that coal that a custommer ask for. I don´t try to make something i can´t do.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I am in to only the heavy music like Heavy Metal.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Refference track. What is the final coal.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Get in touch, don´t just listen to there previus work. Even if the works i relly good the person maybe are not the right person for you. The human connection is importent to. If don´t can work with a person id doesent matter how good that person is.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My ipad, a solarcharger, my midikeyboard, AKG 240 studio headphones. Thats it.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I been a muscian for 30 years. Mostley playd guitar in metalband. For 10 years ago i started to do more electronica and tok up the art of mixing.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Some mordern with a touch of the 80:s
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Zakk Wylde. He is multitalent muscian. And så great guitarplayer.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don`t forget about the middrange frequenses. There is so much to there to boost and cut. But you can make a mix sound louder then it is just by trying to find the right spot in the middle frequenses.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, blues, Indie rock and Pop and EMD
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I get a very open mind.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Keyboard and guitar parts.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start to listing to the song. Make room for all instruments and vocal just with the faders. After that I will start mostley with drums and bass. After that i depends on the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It´s simple. I do all my work on the box. Have Guitar amplifeier and three guitar at my studio. Midi Keyboard for my VI that i have in my computer.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: EMD and Electronica. What you can do with sounds only from synths

A: Mixing and recording
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: It is my recent project. Marcus Lundin. My role here is producing, recording, mixing and master. It´s great to work with a person that never has recording something in a studio before that just put in so much good energy.

This week i did upgrade my studio pc from win 8.1 to the new windows 10.
Right know i running ,Pro Tools 12.1 on that pc and it working just fine.
Ableton Live lite 8 is also working fine with windows 10.
When it comes to Pro Tools I noticed that it using less cpu now when it did with win 8.1.
