To fund my studio I'd been an assistant martial arts instructor, worked 3 jobs, wrote songs & engineered for artists during school. At age 16 I graduated high school & worked on developing hundreds of local artists in studio & remote. At age 19, after a near decade of designing abstract audio I relocated to Atlanta.

This man was amzaing! I highly recommend.
Tsukinami is an very organized and detailed individual that helps artist tap into their hidden potential. He helps create a sound that is unique and fit for the artist and also gives great advice in the studio environment
Working with Tsukiyomi is an experience from his overall understanding of music to his attention to detail in his writing/mixing and mastering. I was surprised by his willingness to help in whatever way he can wether that be lending an honest ear or offering advice that are both practical and impactful for my career in music. I write this as a review of his work and a thank you for his services.
Honestly i gotta say tsukiyomi was worth discovering cause if i woulda never met that man i dont think id really get the true understanding of music. He helped me on my writing music schedule, my mindset , and my lyric improvements. Smart man with major knowlege and is a man of his word with helping so he’s definitely recommended for a manager.
Tsukiyomi is a great singer / vocalist talent . He helped me to complete make tracks off a ep for a great price very professinal and straight a smart young man to work with i would suggest him to anyone looking to get a professinal sound within there music .
I met Tsukiyomi only two months ago and he has been a huge inspiration to me. I’ve gained so much knowledge within a short span of time while working with him. There’s not a moment when you can’t learn something new when around this guy: about business, your passions and aspirations, or even life. His ear for music and ability to create it is CRAZY! It’s 11 out of 10 when working with Tsuki for real.
Amazing engineer who sits and actually attempts to hear exactly what the artist is looking for! Automatically in my top 5
I spent 5 days of personal consultation interaction with taukiyomi & I will say I Improved 10fold! He has an expert mind in Not Only music business, but also Mixing techniques and song writing! Any one working with him will leave 100% satisfied with the work they receive!!!!
Life changing, I can say that without the push of this man, I wouldn't be where I am today. He is a very professional, amazing, and down to earth person and my #1 to do business with.
Since the beginning of my career I've experienced nothing but growth working with Tsukiyomi. I've developed tremendously as a songwriter, recording artist, and performer and will continue to work with him in the future.
I contacted Tsukiyomi about needing a cover art for my song I was about to release. I reached out to other people before him, but they were slow getting back to me. His price was affordable so I went him and I’m glad I did! He sent me 4 covers to choose from (I love variety). I didn’t have to wait long to get them back—less than 24 hrs.
Interview with Kuroraiko Tsukiyomi
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm my most proud project. My role is to diligently use my talents to help people succeed. Whats your favorite part of yourself?
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Would you be able to help me obtain sync licensing, song placements, paid touring, or a bigger platform to be interviewed on? The help would be genuinely appreciated. Who do you know that may be able to help me? How can I help them?
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'm new here. As I meet more people, I will keep track of who would be valuable to who & keep them connected.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to remain with you through the creative expressions & realistic depressions of your life. With or without business, I have open hands & heart for every artist I connect with. Would you reach out if your heart was heavy?
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Common Questions: "Where'd you obtain so much insight? Can I ask you more questions? Can you show me your ways?" My Answer: "Access to my ways can be received in my Advisory Services. Do you desire for me to be your Artist Adviser?"
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The largest misconception is I'm the sole creator of the vision. In reality I'm simply the bridge to it's fulfillment. The vision had been created long before my awareness. My being is what brought it to reality.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What projects are you working on next? How do you wish to sound on those projects? How may I help you accomplish these projects? How long is the time frame to complete the projects? How much were you looking to spend completing these projects?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please be knowledgeable of the results you want. I produce effective results when I can gauge & study the direction I'm going. Who influences the style of writing, engineering, or art you seek? What key elements of those influences are you looking to bring out in yourself? What moods do you wish to portray in your writings, music, & artwork?
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I wouldn't. If I spent time trying to describe my own sound I'd be too critical of my creations. I let the audience describe the style. How would you describe my style?
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: The truly educated & talented. I would like to learn from them. What qualities do you seek from collaborators?
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Who all has inspired your sound in music?.. Do you think how they'd think when you're creating?.. Try to track where it takes your mind & sound during your creative process. Why run from inspiration when you can embrace it? Don't forget to leave plenty of headroom in your mixes for a well polished master. How has this worked for you?
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip Hop & Alternative R&B. What other genres of music will we create together? I love experimenting with sound.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Empathy. The power of absorbing emotions & perspective then respecting them as if they were my own. I simply deliver my talents in tandem with empathy in hopes to make people proud of themselves. The goal is to be closer to your true self than you've ever been. How close are you with yourself? How much closer could you be through self expression?
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: What do you hear in your soul? In your heart? In your head? These are the questions answered when I delegate literary devices across rhythms to portray relative story lines. How does it feel in your gut? In your chest? In the back of your neck? When finding the emphasis of sound I routinely ensure it "feels right". What do you want from a song?
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I firmly live by the phrase "Less is More." Minimize the clutter, Maximize the creative potential. My studio is a dual touch screen all-in-one setup consisting of an i7-processor, 2i4 interface, near field monitors, mid-range monitors, sub, & pressure gradient condenser microphone. Great for accessibility, mobility, & creative stretch when going experimental. Have you ever worked on a compact setup? Which setup types have you experienced?
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Engineer-Wise I'm inspired by Dr. Dre, Noah "40" Shebib, Travis Scott, & Jeff Ellis' techniques. Lyrically I'm inspired by the writings of Frank Ocean, Thebe Kgositsile (Earl Sweatshirt), Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd), PartyNextDoor, & Chris Stapleton. Key aspects of my writing styles & sound quality come from listening to & studying these professionals. What have you learned from the music professionals whom inspired you?
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I believe artists succeed more delivering their audience a complete image. I commonly assist artists song write, critique, & revise lyrics. When recording I organize tracking, coach delivery, sound edit vocals distinctly emphasizing them, mix, & master the track. We then generate concepts for accompanying images, artwork, videos, & possible campaigns to grow the artist. These artists become long term clients; creating a deepened bond & fulfilling creative product.
