Incredible saxophone player who wrote a sax topline for a track of mine that surpassed 500,000 plays. I will be going back to him any time I need more saxophone!

  3. Review by Keila m.

This player recorded on several songs for my album. He was super fast, went above and beyond in providing me several takes to choose from, and the final result was exactly what I wanted. Will continue to work with him as much as I can!

  1. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  2. A: Alto Sax (Selmer Series II) Tenor Sax (Keilwerth Shadow SX90) Clarinet (Buffet R13) Apollo Twin (Manley Voxbox or UA610B preamp) Nuemann TLM103 Shure SM7 Cloudlifter Ableton Live Macbook

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Be mindful of scientific notation (ex: E1, E2, E3, etc. on your piano roll) when you voice the notes in your chords/leads/melodies/bass/etc - you can avoid mix issues and create space in your productions by keeping each part out of each others way in the sonic space. (example: if your bass is playing E1 (E0 in Ableton) then it is prudent to not have E1 playing in any other synth/piano,etc..)

  5. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  6. A: Saxophone overdubs.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: Impactful playing with a producers mindset.

  11. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  12. A: Dance/Pop.

  13. Q: What are you working on at the moment?
