I approached Boulevard for the final master of my song. The result was great and they added that final polish that was needed for the song. Great to work with, and I hope to do so again soon !

Anton replied promptly, workflow was incredibly fast. The final quality of the master track was exactly the same i was looking for. Looking forward for the next project.

Anton took my breath away with the result of my last track. I'm somewhat particular on how I want my music to sound and Anton was very flexible and determined to get it to sound exactly how I wanted. I've worked with him three times now and I can't see myself going to anyone else for mixing and mastering help. Boulevard sound is amazing!
I recently did a Master with Boulevard Sound. The service was super reliable and responses were fast. Looking forward to more projects in the future!
Anton is a true professional. He is efficient, incredibly creative, and has an excellent ear for good music. 10/10.
Interview with Anton Khabbaz
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently Mixed and Mastered an Illenium song for Warner Music Group!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently in the process of wrapping up a Mix and Master for Sony Music.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio gear highlights are my Apollo MKII Twin Duo, Yamaha HS8's on Iso Acoustic Stands, Universal Audio Teletronix LA-2A Leveling Amplifier, 1176LN Limiting Amplifier, and a Dangerous BAX Mastering EQ. It's a simple setup. I believe its not the gear or studio that makes a good mix, it's about having a great ear and knowing your tools well.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, they work beautifully together. I think each serves a different purpose and offer unique characteristic to a mix or master.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is to offer my clients a product that exceeds their expectations and give them the satisfaction they deserve.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Sometimes people think that Mixing or Mastering a track is going to turn a bad song into a good song. But that has nothing to do with Mixing and Mastering. What you make is completely reliant on your creative process. My job is simply to clean up and polish your product, not change it entirely.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How do you want your product to sound like? What are some reference tracks you would like me to listen to? Are you going for more loudness or dynamics?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please make sure nothing is clipping in the project you send and everything is organized and final. I have had clients in the past send me their mix or master and go back and forth replacing stems here and there and things just start to get messy.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Charger, Headphones, Portable Audio Interface, and a Microphone.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I grew up in a musical background so I have always had a musical ear. I began producing in 2014 and have been doing it ever since. After attending Music School and learning the backbone of Audio Engineering, I began to practice Mixing and Mastering in my own free time and helping friends out with their projects. I now feel at a proficient level to start doing it as a part-time job.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would say my style is Dynamic and Colorful.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Coldplay. They're the best band in the world.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always trust your ear when making music, and don't be afraid to take risks.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on everything. I don't set any limits for the type of music I work on. I love it all!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am not necessarily stronger in one skill than the other, but I find that I do Mastering more than I do mixing. But I am well experienced in both fields.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring the great love and passion I have for music to every project I work on. I don't see Mixing and Mastering as only a technical process. I really love to get creative with my work and approach things from an artistic mindset.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually start by loading the Pre-Mix Stems or 2 Track Pre-Master into an Ableton session. I then listen to the Rough Mix/Master Reference and get a feel for what the client envisions for the record. I then proceed to gain staging and simple EQ cleaning. After I do that, I begin diving into the Mix or Master in depth and work on it till the client is happy and satisfied with the end product.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like having the opportunity to do what I love the most as a job.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am heavily inspired by Dance Act's such as Fred Again... and Skrillex. But I also love other Artist's such as Sam Fender, Omar Apollo, and Phoebe Bridgers.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly do Mixing and Mastering for clients. But I am also well versed in Vocal Tuning/Comping if clients need it.
