Hi, I'm Rodrigo!

I'm proud to say that I am the first Salvadoran artist to release on the iconic label Musical Freedom/Spinnin' Records! I have also released on some of Don Diablo's Hexagon sub labels such as: Time Machine (RetroVision) and a 3-track EP on BTK (King Topher) that entered the 'Top Overall' and 'Trending' charts on 1001tracklists!

I specialize on House music and most of its subgenres! Tech House, Bass House, Deep House, Piano House etc.

In 2023 I was able to get supported by some of the biggest Spotify Editorial Playlists such as 'Operator', 'Open Air' and 'Fresh Finds Dance'

I'm more than happy to jump on already started project ideas that you might be stuck with. Also, starting something from scratch (Ghost Producing) with reference tracks or an idea you've been thinking about.

Interview with Rodrigo

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am honestly proud of all of my projects in SoundBetter. They have all been different in their own way. I've had some projects to be a very aggressive Bass House track and I've had other projects be Melodic Tech House and I have surprised myself as to what my capabilities are as a producer! I love it.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That they will be 100% happy with the final result!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It never gets boring! I absolutely love that I can get to do this as my job :)
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That you need fancy and expensive gear to produce quality work. After a while, I realized that all you need is to understand your equipment and how it will translate into different systems.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Disclosure! I think they have evolved so much throughout the years and have managed to remain unmatched and unique. Their creativity just has no boundaries.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Learn all the "rules" of production so you can later break them creatively as an artist!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: House music and all its sub-genres! Yes, all of them :)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Achieving the clients vision and end result!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Chris Lake, Disclosure and MK. They all have such unique styles of House music that just never gets old! They keep pushing the boundaries of dance music and they always make me go: "how did they do that!?"
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly Ghost Production! It can vary between starting something completely from scratch or it can also be an idea that a client has already started too!
