Interview with Gareth Tong
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: The point of being a producer is not to show how good of a producer you are, but to show how good the song is

A: I work on pop, hip hop and rnb music mainly
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Apollo twin for my interface Senneiser MK4 for vocal tracking
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Kanye west, Bryson tiller and Korean Rnb
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Music production, songwriting and mixing
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I get inspired by sounds, pictures and things that I see in daily life, I then transform these images in my mind to sounds. I often start with the melodic and chordal part of the song, then I follow up with drums and percussion to thicken the song up.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Fitting the instrumental of the song to the strength of artists.
