Dedicated to the craft of great audio, I've produced, mixed, and recorded for artists, commercials, and film/tv; placing over 75 cues in shows like The Voice, PGA Championships, CMT Music Awards, American Pickers, and Pawn Stars.
I specialize in crisp, clean, audio working primarily with pop, acoustic, country, singer/songwriter, Americana, jazz, rhythm and blues, and roots artists. In addition to production, I am a passionate and dedicated mixer, audio editor, and multi-instrumentalist on guitar, mandolin, dobro, pedal steel, lap steel, banjo, ukulele, and bass.

Interview with Sound & Strings
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I'm in love with my vintage API 525 compressors. They make everything sound so great. I would definitely take my vintage JBL 4410 speakers. Working on those speakers makes every job enjoyable. For tracking acoustic instruments I love these AT3031 pair of mics I have. I've had a AKG 414 since 2007 and it has never failed me as a great all-around microphone. Lastly, gotta have my 2004 Collings D2H acoustic guitar, no wait, my 1956 Gibson...yikes, I can't do this!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Clients often ask me to track instrumentation in a supporting role for a song or production in process. Additionally, clients will ask me to mix or master works that I have collaborated on in some way. I have also mixed or mastered recordings without any prior participation, but typically I'm involved in multiple stages of the production or on the production from the start.
