  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: Mixing and Mastering are just like cooking. After the best selection of ingredients you made in the recording, let me season your music with the right amount of secret sauce to emphasize the flavors of your tracks to punch through. Yet, your tracks will be carefully served at precise temperature to maintain the true juice of your idea.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: I'd get to listen to good music all days, many hours a day. That's a privilage already!

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: 20+ years in professional studio with established artists.

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: Modern mix with vintage flare. Spacious, punchy and full flavor mix.

  9. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: Both. Digital sounds great these days, but I'd always use analog summing to gain more stereo separation and give the mix more sonic push.

  11. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  12. A: Good sounding. Whatever the term 'good' means to different clients, I'll reach out to it.

  13. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  14. A: Radiohead. Because their complex compositions are somewhat challenging to mix.

  15. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  16. A: Always double check with fresh pair of ears. Long mixing session can give you ear fatigue and lead to in accurate decisions. Give yourself some rest to refreshen up before come back on with final decision.

  17. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  18. A: Mixing and Mastering Engineer

  19. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  20. A: Clarity, dimensions, soundstage, color and mojo.

  21. Q: What's your typical work process?

  22. A: Communication is the first key to my mix, I'd love to hear the client sharing what they want to achieve on the mix to align myself on the same page as them. Then I'd start to season the mix with my own sauce accordingly. Plus the dimensional orientation in mind to enhance the hearing experience to the listener.

  23. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
