Interview with Keggs
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise that I will do my absolute best to give you the sound that you are looking for.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being involved in the creating process. I often sit and listen to all of the songs that I have been involved in creating and just admire the artwork.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Only work with professionals who genuinely interested in giving you what you are looking for.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started working as a tracking engineer for my mom, who is a Voice Actor, at age 14. When she was done recording, I would use her studio to record my own music. Since most of my friends were aspiring artists, I would invite them to record their music in my moms studio; eventually I realized that I was better at editing other people music than I was at creating my own.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: As a music producer, I am able to bring a creative ear into my mixes. I often provide feedback and suggestions to my customers, if they are interested in hearing it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My current workstation is inside my home. I run Pro Tools 2018 on my iMac and occasionally utilize Logic for my production needs.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Greg Wells, Dave Pensado, and Parks.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most commonly, I mix and master Single releases for a vast array of clients. I also enjoy creating customized instrumentals.
