Assistant to John Feldmann // Offering Production, Mixing and more
Looking for a professional that can bring your song to life? I work as an assistant to legendary producer John Feldmann (5 Seconds of Summer, Avril Lavigne, The Used, Blink-182) and have credits with Avril Lavigne, The Used, Ashton Irwin (5SOS), The Veronicas, Yellowcard, and more. With years of experience in Pro Tools, I specialize in mixing that enhances clarity, punch, and emotion while keeping your vision intact. Beyond production and mixing, I can edit vocals, drums and other instruments, program drums, play guitar/bass, and add additional production to existing mixes that elevate your track. Whether you need a polished mix or creative enhancements, I'll work hard to ensure your music stands out. Lets take your song to the next level!

Endorse Connor DanielConnor is absolutely the best guy to work with. He pays a lot of attention to the vision for the music and delivers every time. To top it off, he's the most fun and chill guy to make music with. 10/10 would recommend.
Connor has been producing, mixing, and mastering my goodz since 2021. Highly recommend. Here are some reasons why:
1. He knows how to handle me.. bc I usually don't know how to handle myself when I'm at the mic
2. He's patient and works with me on what my vox can handle or can't handle
3. He provides great suggestions and hammers home what I'm looking for, even with the slightest hum doodahlyy doo hum hum things I do
4. He knows the vibes I like when he's making the tracks, and there's not a ton of explaining I need to doMy favorite producer I’ve ever worked with. His attention to detail & songwriting skills make every session magic.

Wow, where to start? Connor was an incredible joy to work with, never pressured or rushed you along. His professionalism, his charisma, and his passion really show in his work!!
Hey Sean from McCadden Place here. We worked with Connor from 137 Productions on our debut Lust &Pride EP. he made the whole process very easy, the working environment was fun and always productive, the pricing was quite fair and he did a really amazing job making our songs sound crisp and amazing while also helping us spice them up. We also hired him to help with the instrumentation of our Re-imagined version of our song Fallen Star and he got it to us ahead of schedule and it sounded absolutely amazing! Definitely a great producer, musician and guy/company to work with overall!
If you're in need of an engineer for your next track, I highly recommend Connor. With strong attention to detail, he incorporated extra production elements and brought my track to life! It was refreshing to work with someone with a different background than mine and brought new perspective into my song. I definitely will reach out to 137 Productions for anything I need with future projects!
If you’re looking for a producer/engineer who genuinely cares about your songs, then you found the right guy. In my own experience, Connor was super focused and attentive when it came to the songs I had. He for sure cares just as much about the finished product as you do. 137 Productions felt comfortable and pushed me for my best at the same time. It was a great collaboration, fresh perspective and honestly just a fun time making and recording music. Whatever the project is, Connor’s naturally gifted in music so he’ll get it done.
If you’re having a hard time choosing a producer, look no further. I was skeptic to trust anyone with my craft until I came to 137 Productions. Not only will you get a talented multi-instrumentalist, producer, engineer, and vocalist, you’ll get Someone who cares about you and your music. He works on your art as if it was his own. He is a perfectionist and is always patient and open to hearing all your ideas so he can deliver the BEST. I work with Connor on every song I have. And will continue to work with him and recommend him to anyone who wants to make music.
Interview with Connor Daniel
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: The 1975 - I don't think I've ever been more inspired by a band; from the songwriting to production, it's just genius.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Try different things for different songs
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Alternative rock is what I'm usually asked to work on, but I specialize in lots of genres - metal, indie, pop, rap etc.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My vocal editing game is pretty sharp if I do say so myself, but I think generally being able to wear a multitude of different hats is overall my biggest strength (adding production, mixing, full instrumentation, all edits - one stop shop situation)
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I combine my own strengths and production preferences with the artists personal musical taste and project goal - I believe that generates something very unique and competitive. Also, I try to do different approaches to each song; while I have some go-to's that make the process move faster, I don't stick with one sound for everything.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I always tell the artists I work with that I have no expectation of how the session is going to go; My goal with every session is to have FUN. I push buttons until things sound good and work tirelessly to make every moment of every song sound as unique as possible while making the environment positive and upbeat. I feel like I become friends with everyone I work with because we bond over music and have such a great time making art.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a fairly minimal setup - Mac Studio and my Apollo being my main work force. I have hundreds and hundreds of plugins but I strive to get the most natural sound possible in a digital context (unless the mission is not to be analog!) to much success I believe. I am a guitar player and therefore have a closet full of great instruments; gibson les paul jr, fender american strat, fender american jazz bass, peavey wolfgang and some guitars I've built as well.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My personal taste ranges across the board; everything from classic rock to modern pop. More recent inspirations come from Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, The 1975 and The Band CAMINO, but I also love Green Day, Sum 41, Blink (the pop punk legends) and bands like The Beatles, Zeppelin and Rush who shaped it all.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Production, songwriting and mixing are usually the main tasks, but within that scope there is vocal editing (tuning/timing), drum editing (gridding, adding samples etc), removing unwanted noise from tracks and all the nitty-gritty fine tune work that ultimately makes a big difference in the final product.
