I am a songwriter/producer, mixing/mastering engineer, as well as a multi-instrumentalist and singer. I have been making music for as long as I can remember and will continue until my time is up. I have a lot to offer for those who are just getting started as well as those veterans who are in need of creative and professional assistance. Hit me up!
I'm essentially a one stop shop. I have been a musician my entire life. Singing for as long as I can remember, and early on learned piano, guitar, bass, drums, synthesizer, mandolin, etc. And I have a home studio to record anything that you might need.
Since very early on I was writing my own songs and by the time I was in high school I was recording my friends and my own music at home. In college, I studied music composition and recording arts at Chico State, and I was a touring musician with my home base in Nashville TN and now Los Angeles Ca.
Since moving to Los Angeles I have started touring less and focused my efforts on producing other artists. I do a wide variety of genres. From EDM and hip hop, to country and blues, though my passion lies in the rock and pop world. You can visit my website www.ryanmakermusic.com to hear some of the artists I've produced recently.
If you are in need of a producer/cowriter to help finish your ideas, I'm your guy.
If you have already recorded a song or album and need someone to put that final mix together, I'm your guy.
If your mix is finished, and you need that final polish and heat from a proper master, I'm your guy.
If you need a home cooked meal but have dietary restrictions, I'm not your guy, but I might know someone. Eat healthy ya'll.

Interview with Ryan Maker
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Trust your ears and make the kind of music you like. You will find an audience.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop and Rock is where my passion lies, though I do work a lot with mixing EDM.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Production and Mixing. I am great with song structure and have an extremely good ear for melody and harmony.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I am a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and lyricist. So i have a lot of different angles to approach from.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically work in 3-4 stages. A demo/writing stage, a production stage, a mixing stage, and a mastering stage. For each stage I give the client 3 revisions, for a total of up to 12 revisions before an additional charge.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I produce and mix in logic pro x. Most of my mixing is 100% in the box, though I do have a few outboard preamps and compressors, but they get used less and less as time goes on.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly produce and mix the song i produce for artists. Sometimes this involves co-writing the song from scratch or helping finish an idea an artist already has.
