    Márcio is an amazing mixer and engineer. He is able to make all of our songs to sound absolutely amazing. Super profissional and always able to understand our vision.

    This is the guy who understood my vision as an artist. If a song is already awesome, this guy goes beyond.

  1. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  2. A: Most of the work that i do is Mixing and Mastering. I'm also a live mixing engineer.

  3. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  4. A: I listing to almost any kind of music, but the MUSIC is what inspires me. From Pop to metal.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I Mix almost all in the box. I do analog summing on Neve 5059. Sometimes a use some outboard Gear.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: I usually start to bring faders up, and see what that brings me.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: That first Question is "what does the song brings to me", and after is when i make my decisions... So, it depends on the song.

  12. A: Mixing! Thats what i love to do

  14. A: My major clients are all Pop artists.

  16. A: I'm not a producer.

  18. A: Dua Lipa, Jamiroquai, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Sevendust, Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo fighters and the list goes on and on...

  20. A: Dependes on the vibe of the song.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: Started has a Recording engineers and live Mixing engineer until i built mt own studio. Recorded and mixed many independent bands and artist, until i had the first major mix... Didn't stoped working with major artists after that.

  23. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  24. A: My Mac, Nuendo, UAD Octo and Neve 5059.

  25. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  26. A: Have your files well named and organized. Don't over process unless you really know that is the way.

  27. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  28. A: Not so many.. In general i let the music tell me what they need.

  29. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  30. A: Not so much questions. More technicals things i think...

  31. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  32. A: Mixing! every time i open a project it's a new fresh start!

  33. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  34. A: The best of me.

  35. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  36. A: Digital. Because it's easier to deliver what clients want.

  38. A: Finishing the next Blaya EP.
