Phil Joly is a Grammy Award winning recording and mix engineer best known for his work with Common, Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey, Residente, and The Strokes. Phil draws from a vast sound vocabulary to realize an original artistic sound and vision.

Phil primarily mixes and produces music from his private studio, Gatsby House, on a Rupert Neve Designs 5060 analog summing console, offering a hybrid combination of high fidelity musical quality paired with quick turnaround times based on ease of recall. Having mixed for artists ranging from Lana Del Rey, to Bilal, to Chaka Khan, he understands the importance of delivering a great mix based on the artist's vision.

As a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Phil is able to craft instrumentals from the ground up, or add the final touches to bring a song to its best final form.
