Candace Sosa on SoundBetter

I'm a proucer/writer/mixing engineer in the Los Angeles area looking to mix your next project! My most recent work consists of several songs on the Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer # 1 albums by the popular K-Pop group BTS. I look forward to bringing the vision of your song to life!

I've also recently written for Armin Van Buuren and have been in several sessions with many local talents. I work closely under DJ Swivel (The Chainsmoker, Beyonce, BTS, etc,) so I'm often in sessions around town. I mostly specialize in writing/producing/mixing pop records but can really do anything from pop, to R&B, to even some pop/rock styles.

Been working in audio for about 10 years, working in Logic Pro X.

Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.

Interview with Candace Sosa

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Super proud of my work on Euphoria by BTS. I produced and vocally produced the track and it has been such an incredible experience watching it come to life and hearing it live at the Staples Center!

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Don't over compensate with plug ins for a sound/track that just doesn't need to be in the song. Keep it minimal and smart.

  5. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  6. A: Very inspired stylistically by Illenium, some tracks off of Dua Lipa's album, lots of pop stuff.

  7. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  8. A: Usually doing topline work for other artists/producers, but I'm very well versed in the mixing process, and working under DJ Swivel has only progressed my mixing techniques.
