Moritz Braun on SoundBetter

My Goal is to bring the best out of your music, polish what is there and elevate your song to the next level.

Growing up in Munich Germany, I started to produce music 10 years ago. I came to the states in 2014 to study Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music in Boston, of which I graduated in Dec. 2016. Since January 2017 I am living and working in Los Angeles. I collaborated with numerous artists and songwriters over the years, doing everything from writing to engineering, producing and mixing.

Please feel free to contact me about any questions regarding your project! I look forward to working with you!

  12. A: Before mixing a song I usually try to find out what the client is going for after I listened to the rough mix.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: I learn mixing and producing on big analog consoles like the Neve88 or SSL Duality. Nowadays the hardware emulation plug ins sound so good, that mix only in the box (on my computer now). This allows me to have a super fast and efficient workflow. Recalls for revisions are also quick and uncomplicated, thanks to technology.

  15. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  16. A: Usually I mix or produce records.
