I'm a freelance producer with an excessive devotion to music. Each project I'm given is treated with passion and care! My main project has achieved millions of global streams across a few releases. I make hip hop beats, commercially licensed music, and everything in between. I have a high quality standard molded from over 7 years in the industry.
I’m primarily an electronic music producer. My music has achieved millions of streams via Spotify, SoundCloud, etc. I’ve done a few tours and released on some notable labels such as Atlantic, Dim Mak, Spinnin, and more. I’ve worked with an artist from the Voice and one soon to be on Britain’s Got Talent. I really enjoy pushing boundaries and dipping my hands in every genre/style I could.
I mix and master all of my own music. I use Logic Pro X with an array of third party mixing and mastering plug ins.
I’m really good at working under direction, I strive to interpret a clients vision as clearly as possible. Let’s work together!

Great communicator with awesome production skills. I had the project 75% done and Jonah helped me out through mixing to mastering. We have communication each day during the process on vocal details, drop layers, and some tasty modifications. Janah also provided me a couple versions of mastering with different compression. Overall, highly recommended producer.
Interview with Jonah M
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do pretty much everything including music and fx production for videos, backing tracks for vocalists and instrumentalists, mixes and masters for artists, etc. Most of my clients end up needing EDM ghost production or Hip-Hop Beats.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Creativity, originality, professionalism. I've had the opportunity through my main project to analyze what people respond to and what they don't. I believe my expertise over the years has allowed me to hone in on what makes a good song, a good song.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be afraid to make something bad. All of my best songs stem from bad ideas.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I'm not an "EDM Elitist"! Many customers assume that since my background is in electronic music, I am the embodiment of electronic music. This is totally not the case, I love all music equally. I find myself enjoying composing orchestral film scores more than my own EDM tracks sometimes. In fact, non-edm related projects often inspire me more!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Crystal Clear Communication, Speedy Turnover
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently rebranding my electronic music project with new music and aesthetics. I love branding music projects and I could help with that as well!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been producing music for over 10 years, however, professionally for around 7. Throughout grade school and high school I was a self taught instrumentalist and lyricist, playing with various local bands as a drummer and singer. Over time I developed a passion for hip hop, which gave me my first taste of the DJ/Production world. I enrolled in Butler University's Recording Industry program, but quickly noticed that my years of prior practice had put me far ahead my classmates. I decided to leave college and work on music full time. I'm completely self taught (besides the school of youtube) and it has led me to develope an interesting dynamic on my music.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I produce on a 2015 27" IMac with KRK Rokit 6's and Audiotechnica ATH-M50x's. I use the M-Audio Oxygen 49 key midi keyboard with Logic Pro X. Some of my synths include Serum, Sylenth, Massive, Helm, The Arturia Classics, and more. I use Fabfilter Pro Mixing/Mastering Bundle, Izotope mastering plugins, Valhalla mixing plug ins, and more to achieve my sound. I also use an array of live instruments including piano, guitar, and drums.
