Giosuè Rasi

Rapper, Lyricist, Songwriter

I've been rapping since 2012, both in Italian and English. I've rapped all over Italy, in Dublin, and London. Need some lyrics, a feature, or a piece of advice on your projects? I'm your man.

I've been writing since I was a kid, it's my passion.
I've worked as a ghostwriter for Italian and American rappers, I performed my own songs in front of small and big crowds.
I can ghostwrite the lyrics of your next hit or I can be the feature you were searching for, in each case you gonna get my 110% commitment to your project.
I think the best way for you to see if I'm the fit for your song or not, how much experience I have if you like my style of writing and performing and etc... is by believing your own eyes and ears, so here are some links to all of my works, feel free to explore them:

When asked: "Which known artists' sound do you specialize in?", I've answered "Eminem, Joyner Lucas, and Logic" because I grew with their music, especially with Eminem, who is my biggest influence and inspiration since I was ten years old.

I don't think there's a lot more to say if you want to contact me for a little chat about some projects feel free to do it.

Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Interview with Giosuè Rasi

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: Right now I'm working on my new Album and my live performances, I have planned a lot of them in the next months so if you wanna hear me sing live and see how I behave on stage I would recommend you to check out my Youtube channel, everything will be posted there.

  3. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  4. A: Ask me questions. Send me a message and tell me what the project is; if I'm the fit for you I'll be super enthusiastic to work on it, if I'm not I'll be the first one to say it, I won't ever gonna waste our time because I know how precious it is.

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: I've been writing lyrics for eight years now and performed in any condition possible: in bars, pubs, squares, theatres, on youtube and discos. I've been performing in Itlay, Dublin, London, LA, Germany, and France. I've always been the type of person that loved performing no matter the conditions, in front of thousands of people with a crew of collaborators and a mic or a cappella around a campfire with a couple of strangers, and I alwaysmade it work no matter what, the show must go on right?

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: I don't think I can, I could try to say that I like fast complex extra-beats but at the same time I love to take my time and deliver an important message in my songs, I would say that in a lot of my songs instead of saying clearly what the message is I prefer to construct a story that contains that message as the moral of the song and I do it as frequently as I spit just bars on a beat until I feel that I murdered it. I think what I'm trying to say is that the best testimonies of my style are my songs, listen to a few and you tell me.

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: My dream has always been to share a stage with Eminem; music speaking he has been my inspiration since I was 10 years old. That being said there's a lot of artists I would be honored to collaborate with, to mention a few: Logic, Joyner Lucas, Techn9ne, Token, Gemitaiz, Madman, and so on...

  11. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  12. A: I usually work with rap music, going from old school rap style to the contemporary one. But I like to experiment a lot with sounds, in the past, I worked on Pop Music, RnB, and Rock/Rap genres.

  13. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  14. A: Storytelling and emotional transport, that's what I focus the most on, I like to tell a good story in a good way while trying to make you feel something by how I use words, how I play with my rhyme schemes and the double meanings behind my lyrics.

  15. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  16. A: Well, obviously my personality, my own style of seeing and describing things, emotions and situations to the audience. I like to play with the beats, experiment with melodies and words, beeing the outcast instead of representing another drop in the ocean of the music industry.

  17. Q: What's your typical work process?

  18. A: I start with a concept, a state of mind or a story I want to tell and I work to be sure that while I'm writing all of the emotions are delivered to the listener by my lyrics and my delivery. I'm more about how I do something than what I'm doing.

  19. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  20. A: Usually, I rap my own verses, a sort of paid featuring wit someone else. If you're searching for someone to complete your song, I'm your guy.

  21. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  22. A: I'll always be clear about my job if I think I'm not the perfect artist to do what you asked I'll tell you right away. I'll never leave you unsatisfied with what I'll deliver you, if you don't like or want to change some of my lirycs, I'll be happy to do it again.

  23. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  24. A: I always keep a notebook and a pen near me in every moment of my day so that if I get inspiration for something, even only one bar I think I could add later on in a song, I can put it down on paper and see it again later on. I can't count the times I woke up in the middle of the night just to write some words and then go back to sleep. This has helped me a lot of times in my music production process, especially when you have one of those moments where you look at the white piece of paper in front of you and your mind just doesn't want to collaborate.

  25. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  26. A: Usually, I take inspiration from the emotions that music and artists make me feel. The biggest and strongest example is Eminem: his storytelling, rhyme schemes, technique, and passion represents to me that working hard and being genuine and passionate about your work is the key to achieve everything you dream for in your life. Nothing is easy. If something is it isn't interesting to me.

  27. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  28. A: The chance to put all of myself in something that I love and I really enjoy doing, without the need to see it as work but with the happiness to describe it as my Passion.
