Interview with EvaSoul Pro Vocs-Toplines
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am proud of all my work and do only what I am passionate about.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on various work-for-hire vocals for EDM productions from a variety of producers in different locations. I am also working on original acoustic works with a Nashville aligned songwriter and touring guitarist. I also am working on writing, producing and recording songs myself. I also write, produce and perform songs for children. I've also been dabbling in remixing songs for other artists and productions for sync licensing.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Me and you!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital

A: What is my turnaround time? Can be 1-7 days, depending on current bookings.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That anyone can do it or that it's easy. I have been doing this for a long time and studio vocals are a technique as much as performing live on a big stage or in an intimate venue.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you envision, what is the inspiration or feeling in the project and what do you want to communicate? Also, how much freedom do I have to add ideas or changes?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be specific about what you are looking for as far as style and tone and feel of the project.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Mic, DAI, Headphones, Me

A: I am a lifelong and working studio vocalist and artist.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Smooth, strong, technique defined
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: There are just so many wonderfully talented musicians and many I have yet to meet, so anyone I am able to connect with and find the creativity with is who I want to continue to meet and work with.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If you love it and can listen to it 100 times and feel good about it, then it's ready to share.

Have some songwriting demos for other writers, some ideas I'm working on and a few tracks to finish for some cool producers - will post as I am able and hope everyone is having a productive day!
- Production and RemixesJun 05, 2019
Just enjoying the all around process of either remixing a song for someone, from editing vocs down to creating a piece to compliment it, playing with instrument sounds and learning new tricks in the DAW. All in all production isn't all that different when either working on my own vocs or developing a song from scratch. I love being able to express myself in different ways.
