Mixing, Mastering & Recording

A Casa is a brazilian studio located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. It's fortè has been the production of classical music with it's previous Artistic Director, Sergio Roberto de Oliveira, been nominated two times for a Latin Grammy.

With over 20 years of experience, A Casa Studio has been mixing genres ranging from Classical to Samba, always ensuring the song reaches it's full potential.

We can record your entire song in one day, provided it has drums, bass, acoustic and/or electrical guitar and keyboards. At your disposal is a Yamaha C6 piano for an additional $20 fee. If any other instruments are needed, the entire recording may have to be split in order to accommodate session players and an additional $80 fee will be charged per musician needed.

We also offer remote mixing and mastering sessions, both in a hybrid fashion. We have at our disposal quite a colorful palette of equipment, such as SSL 4000G channel strips, Neve 1064 and 1073, Urei LA-4 and more. Inside the box we use top notch plugins such as Plugin Boutique, Fabfilter, Soundtoys, Izotope, Slate Digital, Waves, McDSP, Audioease's Altiverb and Relab Development's LX480. We are not afraid to use every possible tool to enhance the quality and reach the artistic vision of the song.

All of this process is done in a Pro Tools 10 HD system with an Apogge Symphony MKI, allowing for top notch ADA convertion and full DSP power to mix even the busiest mixes.
