Producer, Rapper, film scoring

Music is life! Ive been creating underground hip hop music since I was 15, and 23 years later, Ive never had another job. Besides the 30+ albums Ive recorded on my own and with sub groups, Ive done work for/with John Cena, Pretty Lights, Slightly Stoopid, Murs, Evidence, EL-P, Bass Nectar, Zion-I, The Grouch, Alam Khan, Amp Live, Living Legends

I started writing lyrics in the 6th grade, so writing and rapping were my first love, but when I made my first beat at 15, I was head over heels. I would say I love both equally at this point. Scoring film has always been a dream of mine, since movies were such a big part of my inspriration. I began producing on an ASR-10 keyboard sampler, and MPC 3000, but now I work almost exclusively in Ableton and Protools. My natural style is very different than most when it comes to the way I rap. I was heavily influenced by Outkast, Freestyle Fellowship, A Tribe Called Quest, and Jazz music in general, but I can do any style needed. I specialize in the following:

-Songwriting/Recording rap verses
-HipHop production, underground, commercial, abstract, dirty, clean )
-Remixing
-Ableton and Protools

I like playing with song arrangement. If your song is kind of unbalanced, or all over the place, or your just not happy with the flow of the overall song, I enjoy getting creative with format. Im a guy who dropped out of high school to chase my music, and I never stopped! Its my true love. I play by ear, and taught myself. I have many talented musicians I call upon when I need Cello, Flute, Guitar, or whatever the song calls for. And Id love to bring a unique quality to your project.
