Endorse Cameron TylerI am fortunate to have crossed paths with Cameron. Not only did he co-produce my latest album and make it sound ten times better than it would have otherwise, but his Stewart Copeland- style drumming on the tracks kicked it up even several notches farther. We will be doing some live shows soon and I can’t wait. HIGHLY recommend this super-talented guy !
Cameron is a phenomenal drummer, producer, and all-around talent. I highly recommend working with him.
Cameron is not only a fabulous drummer, but is also capable of knowing exactly what the song or the project needs. His skills, his groove, his pocket, his inner metronome, and his overall drumming style is world class. Not to mention, his attitude is very refreshing. Cameron is a lot fun and easy to work with, as he takes well to coaching and is an extremely fast learner. In the studio, he'll either play the exact demo without question or add his own unique spin when prompted. On the stage, his ability to stick to the record is equally as impressive as his knack for tasteful improvisation.
Cameron is extremely talented, hardworking, and professional. He is a great communicator and would be a great fit for your project. He is an accomplished performer and is very knowledgable about recording techniques. I definitely recommend working with him!
I worked with Cameron for 3 months in Las Vegas and I would recommend him to anyone (artist, musician alike). In fact, I already have to my girlfriend who is a broadway star! He is so talented with his computer production skills and this makes for a flow in the studio that is so fun to be a part of and beneficial when trying to create. He also brings superb talent on the drums and other percussion instruments which only strengthens the tracks that he works on.
Cameron Tyler, great ears, great groove, all around great guy and good friend. Highly recommend Cam's expertise as a producer, engineer, drummer and all around talent!
No better way to put this... but when you get Cam Tyler, you get groove. I've worked with Cameron for a very long time for a reason. It's more than just his proficiency with his instrument, he listens. My favorite players are people who take the time to associate their performance with the lyrics and emotion. Cam's production chops serve him well in this aspect, as they have refined his ability to emote for the song, rather than play to impress. That is crucial. He is also an amazing human being, so there's that too.
I met Cam while making a record with The Vegas Strip Kings. He did a fabulous job on that project, and as we were hanging, one thing led to another and I realized what a badass drummer he is. Now I don't want to do my shows without him! Every groove is solid, powerful playing, big ears, and all about the song...
Cam Tyler is the man! As a human being, he’s genuinely kind, friendly, supportive & funny. As a drummer, his groove is rock solid & dependable every time. I always look forward to gigs where I know that Cam is behind the kit because it means that I can relax and have fun just grooving. As an engineer, Cam is helping me slowly chop away at the Vision I have for my tunes and I am beyond pleased with my progress. His ears are spot on when it comes to both harmonic & rhythmic nuances in my music. He has become an invaluable asset to my project and I anxiously await our next session.
Awesome dude, Awesome player! Cam and I go back about 15 years and he’s always been a super reliable and consistent person and player on top of his game. Great feel, great chops, great attitude and loads of versatility.
Ears, chop, instinct, and attitude.
Cameron has them all nailed down.
At the highest level.
Take that to the bank.Cameron has great ears. He's experienced, groovy, kind, knowledgeable, patient, professional, skilled, sophisticated, versatile, and he plays drums with a fantastic time-feel. You'll be so glad you hired him!
Interview with Cameron Tyler
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Cryptic Cadet. I co-wrote and co-produced all of the music along with the talented Mark Owen (associate conductor of the Cirque du Soleil show "KA). We poured everything we had into the songs and couldn't be happier with the outcome. We released our first album titled "Disconnected" in 2021... stream it now!
