Angelina is really talented, I am really happy with the tracks she provided for my project which ranged from emotional to powerful as the songs required. Her harmonies are epic! Looking forward to working with Angelina again!
Angelina provided powerful, epic chorus sections and emotional leads with an amazing range; capturing the spirit of the songs to perfection and included a number of options for both main leads and (amazing!) harmonies for added flexibility in the mix. I truly enjoyed working with Angelina!
Although we had our wires tangled a little initially, I'm so grateful and impressed by Angelina's persistence and determination working on this song until we had something we were happy with - the Rock Goddess delivered! 🤘
Angelina has a fantastic voice and an amazing range. She is a talented pro who provided exactly what was needed to make the project complete.
Angelina’s demo track grabbed me. I’m building out a new song and working with various female artists to get just the right sounds. She nailed it! Angelina was a total pro. Quick, polite, accommodating. All around great experience.
Angelina was a pleasure to work with! Great communication and got the job done quick!
Angelina did an excellent job on the tracks! I love the tone of her voice. She provided me with multiple takes of each part to choose from and was very professional to work with.
Bad experience. Very pleasing voice, but quite unprofessional. Took a long time to record, gave excuses about depending on someone else for studio space. Did not follow initial instructions or direction that followed. Significantly delayed my time table. Had to complete my project with someone else.
Super awesome person to work with. Great singer and came in with some great ideas for the song. Definitely did an amazing job.
I always wanted to work with Angelina, I am such a big fan of Charetta. Her vocals are just so amazing, I had to get her to work on a song for my band Lodestar. She did such a good job with the song, very professional and she communicated well. I would love to work with her again one day. Thanks so much :) it was a dream come true, especially when it comes to having the opportunity to work with people who's bands inspire you.
So happy with the results! Angelina managed to create a new sound for my track. You know you are in good hands when working with Angelina. I will definitely be working with her again.
Once again i got help with the vocals for my new song and i'm really happy with the result. Such an inspiration to work with people who is dedicated to their work.
Wow..she really exceeded my expectations and did a great job with adding vocals to my instrumental metal track.
Angelina took the song to a higher level and wrote some seriously good lyrics! Delivered in time and she is really committed. Would definetly work with here again!
i personally love to work with an artist that can give their own artistic touch during recording, and Angelina simply nailed it. Her vocals, personality and professional standard are high without question. she's gonna be a rising one!
Always eager to please her clients!
Angelina is one of the best singers on both major sites.Very unique and desirable voice.5stars!

Interview with Angelina DelCarmen
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I had one client who wanted a fast turnaround - I tried to make it work for him- however, as we continued working together - he was expecting me to mix/comp vocals and edit tracks- which requires a degree I do not have- as a singer- my focus hasn't been Music Production. I ended up canceling the project. Although we got to leave each other bad reviews- I thought it was worth it for the next singer to not be bamboozled by this guy. I do feel sad that it makes me look bad! However, 1 in 14 clients- complaining- ain't bad! Everyone else communicated their job requirements and time lines and needs up front as Sound Better requires. Adding additional work for the same price is unfair to everyone. I think this is just the cost of doing business! The other 13 reviews make me feel incredibly proud of the work I've done over the past 3 years! I'm truly grateful to those clients! Who were fair, talented and great to work with!
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm especially Proud of working with Swedish Metal Band Penn Radio! While they were between singers- we kept the project moving from Sweden to NYC! I helped sing and write and multiple songs! I'm incredibly proud of these songs! They are released- streaming everywhere! Which is always the #1 goal! To create music- ready to present to the world
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently doing 3 auditions for a few Acting Projects. I'm writing some of my own original material.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I would recommend a few of my own clients if you need mixing and editing/ Production! They're super talented!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog! Old school and fuller sound!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That you will be happy with your tracks- or your money back!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love it when a new melody or lyric pops in my head! It's the greatest gift!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Do you write lyrics? Absolutely!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Knowing what kind of timeline you're on helps me plan accordingly.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Feel free to let me know any notes you have! We want great music and our powers combined- we can make that happen!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Taylor guitar - a grand Piano that someone will need to lend me- a stage-PA system of course and some bongos!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I always wanted to be a full time Actress and Songwriter. I'm currently doing both! Since 2006 I've been doing Songwriting along side of a full time job in a Photo and film Production Studio. Since 2020, I began doing Acting and Songwriting full time.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is a good portion rock and roll - a hint of folk- some pop- latin and flavors of metal as needed.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to meet and work with Sheryl Crow! I admire her style of songwriting and singing! Being a woman in a male dominated industry isn't easy- and I have heard some horror stories from her podcasts! I'd love to write a song together to help us and the listener feel power over any obstacles!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Watch your inputs while recording!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Folk, Pop, Latin, Dance, Metal, Swedish Metal, Musical Theatre, Standards
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Singing melodies that draw out emotions in the listener. A Power House belter and a High Soprano and an Alto who writes hooks!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I love to bring poetry and stories to a song. Although, when you're handed music to write a long to- there's already one developing! I like to get on that rollercoaster and if I am able to write melody or lyrics- it's all derived from my clients ideas and music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I love to spend the first week learning the song and letting it soak in my brain. By the 2nd week melodies and lyrics begin to develop. I try to get in the studio asap then! I do 5 takes each main line and 1-2 for harmonies. I give a demo sample to the client- who then gives me any notes needed. I then go back and fix any takes that need adjusting. I then provide the client with the final 5 takes per main line and 1-2 for harmonies.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a SM7b Microphone to PreSonus Studio 26c to Logic. 2 weeks advanced Notice can get me in the studio as long as the client needs.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love Sheryl Crow! I cover as many of her songs as possible. Heart is the greatest! My rock band is inspired by NIN, In This Moment and Metallica. Charetta has been around since 2006. I got to work with some incredibly inspiring musicians and Producers who helped us develop multiple albums. We have soft acoustic songs along with heavy metal ones.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I sing all types of music! I also write vocals, harmonies and lyrics! Collaborating with Songwriters and Musicians looking for a PowerHouse Vocalist or even a Soft Venerable one- depending on the song and story.
