I am a sound engineer based in Cape Town, South Africa. I run a music production company called Metalloid Lab Productions.
I can handle the audio mixing and mastering for your music, podcast or any online content. I specialise in mixing and mastering of hip hop and urban music but have also done work for artists that make other styles of music including: folk music, gospel, rock and pop.
I have worked with some of South Africa's most prolific hip hop artists including YoungstaCPT, Jitsvinger, DJ Ready D, Claire Phillips, Def Eff and Emile YX.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: A combination of both, I don't believe one or the other is better. What ever is needed and available at the time in order to do the job.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always make sure that you leave happy!

A: EQ is your best friend!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip Hop, R&B, Soul music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ability to focus on the strong points of the song and allowing that to shine through. Instead of over complicating a mix with too much processing, I rely on subtle adjustments to help the mix shine.

A: The most common tasks I handle as a sound engineer is mixing and mastering of music. I also handle a fair amount of music production work, anything from beats for rappers / singers to music for content creators.
