  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: wow! not easy to choose only one project.... I'm so proud of most of them

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Mixing a Peter Gabriel's song in collaboration with other artists like Joan Baez, LLuis Llach, Gemma Humet,...

  6. A: both

  8. A: I want you to be happy 100%

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: When you connect your feelings with a song. Everything flows to the same direction!!

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: Forget that it is a job

  18. A: just try it ;-)

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: -Computer with protools and plugins -headphones and speakers -a guitar and a keyboard -freezer -coffe maker

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I'm writing songs, recording, producing, mixing since I was a child.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: I'm very comprehensive, and I try to go always in the same direction than the artist

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Any artist that would live the music as me

  28. A: The less is more

  30. A: Pop

  32. A: I love my work

  34. A: My goal is to thrill in each bar

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: When I produce, my first approach is always to figure up and understand the target of the song. Who's going to listen the song.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: In my studio I have a Genesys Neve Console. I use the 1176 comps, the SSL eqs, Manley, Distressors, Lexicon 460, Teletronixs LA2A compressor, Pultec Eq.... I use Genelec 1030 nearfield speakers, the Genelec 1034, and my apple earplugs. I combine the analog outboard with the magic of plugins. My studio is the biggest studio in Barcelona (

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Lot of them! Going from Sir Martin to the unknown young guy that gets incredible sounds from his computer.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I combine Production and Mixing.
