Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: wow! not easy to choose only one project.... I'm so proud of most of them

A: Mixing a Peter Gabriel's song in collaboration with other artists like Joan Baez, LLuis Llach, Gemma Humet,...

A: When you connect your feelings with a song. Everything flows to the same direction!!

A: Forget that it is a job

A: just try it ;-)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: -Computer with protools and plugins -headphones and speakers -a guitar and a keyboard -freezer -coffe maker
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm writing songs, recording, producing, mixing since I was a child.

A: I'm very comprehensive, and I try to go always in the same direction than the artist

A: Any artist that would live the music as me

A: The less is more

A: My goal is to thrill in each bar
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When I produce, my first approach is always to figure up and understand the target of the song. Who's going to listen the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: In my studio I have a Genesys Neve Console. I use the 1176 comps, the SSL eqs, Manley, Distressors, Lexicon 460, Teletronixs LA2A compressor, Pultec Eq.... I use Genelec 1030 nearfield speakers, the Genelec 1034, and my apple earplugs. I combine the analog outboard with the magic of plugins. My studio is the biggest studio in Barcelona (www.medusaestudio.com)
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Lot of them! Going from Sir Martin to the unknown young guy that gets incredible sounds from his computer.

A: I combine Production and Mixing.
