cameron lane is a fifteen year old songwriter who specializes in indie pop with heartfelt and personal lyrics.
I've been writing songs for just about 6 years now, and to try to get my name out into the industry, I would primarily like to extend my skills as a songwriter to others in need of lyrics.
the most recent examples of my work are on my youtube channel (https://youtube.com/cameronlane) but I am currently working on a third full-length album. support here would help me get it on itunes and spotify!
I hope to work with you soon! :)
Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.

Interview with cameron lane
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: currently I'm working on creating youtube videos for my original songs, as well as some covers. I'm also working on collecting fully produced songs for a third album (because while I think my first two albums are good lyrically and conceptually, I produced them before I had any formal knowledge and I don't really like them much now).
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been writing music for six years, but I'm only fifteen, so I'm still a sophomore in high school. my current plan is to look into colleges with a songwriting major available, but that also have good business programs or flexible degrees. if I could pursue music full time that would be wonderful, so that's why I'm here!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: my style is kind of a synth pop/acoustic hybrid, because while my main interest now is synths and midi focused pieces, I still love to throw in my uke or some piano.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on my own, so mainly pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I believe my strongest skill is my lyrical ability.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: my studio at home consists of my macbook pro, a yamaha DGX-660, a sterling audio ST55, and a tube sonus preamp. my primary DAW is logic pro x, but in my music production class at school I use protools and reason.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by other young female artists making their way into the industry now! people like lorde, haley blais, alex lahey, ryn weaver, billie eilish, dodie, orla gartland, tessa violet, etc. I also draw a lot of musical inspiration from bands like twenty one pilots and bastille.
