Hello, I'm J Vega. I've been working in Class A studios across America for 20 years. I've produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered hundreds of artists and bands on both studio and live recordings ranging from Rock, Pop, Electronic, Acoustic, Folk, Indie, Punk, Hip Hop, and Experimental

Beyond just creating great-sounding recordings, my true skill is helping artists express themselves in unique ways and capturing the essence of their individuality. I love finding novel approaches to every aspect of the creative process, often using unusual or archaic technologies to achieve interesting results.

My personal facility is called The Wilderness Recording Studio and is rurally located just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It's a quirky residential studio in a one-of-a-kind converted farmhouse on four private wooded acres. I've got a large and varied selection of instruments and a decent selection of mics and preamps.
