Music composer and producer with credits on Netflix, HBO, Apple TV+, and Amazon — specializing in cinematic scores, and genre-blending production for film, TV, video games, museum exhibitions, and advertising. From orchestra to underground electronica
Hi, I’m Santiago Amezquita — a Los Angeles-based music composer and producer with years of experience creating music for film, TV, ads, video games, and visual media. I love working closely with creative people to bring their ideas to life through music and sound.
My work has been featured on Netflix, HBO, Apple TV+, and Amazon Prime, with credits including The Snoopy Show, Camp Snoopy, George Carlin’s American Dream (Emmy Winner), and America’s Sweethearts: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. I’ve also contributed music and sound design to museum and gallery exhibitions in Europe, Asia, and the U.S., where storytelling and sound come together in immersive ways.
Guitar is my main instrument, and I focus on music that feels honest and fits the tone of each project — from intimate acoustic pieces to cinematic builds that blend orchestral and electronic textures. My goal is always to support the story and help bring a creative vision to life.
I also produce and release electronic music through various labels, where I explore a more experimental and beat-driven sound outside of scoring work.
Excited to connect — feel free to reach out and tell me about your project!

A: Don't overuse reverb.

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by talking with the client to understand the sound, emotions, and story they want to convey through their project. My role is to create music that aligns with and enhances their vision. Sometimes I begin with a simple piano idea or experiment with the guitar until I find a melody or harmony that resonates with me. From there, I start building the piece, layer by layer, until it becomes something worth sharing. It’s always a process of sonic exploration—whether it's sparked by a synth sound I’m drawn to, a compelling melody, or a harmonic progression that catches my ear.
