I produce and mix hard rock music. I have produced and mixed every song from the internationally touring rock band Dead Poet Society. Music I have mixed and produced has been heard on the Xgames, the NHL, as well BMW and Draft Kings commercials.
I have mixed and produced a variety of artists such as Dead Poet Society, Legoheads, and Strange Candy. I mixed Dead Poet Society's Dempsey, AXIOM, and Weapons albums. I am a founding member of the band. Collectively, we have millions of streams on Spotify and over a million views on YouTube. I have produced and mixed dozens of radio jingles including the international, award winning radio jingle for Exergen Theremometers. I recently composed and mixed original music for BMW and Draft Kings commercials. Hard rock, indie and pop are my specialties. It all comes down to the magic for me. I'll spend as long as it takes on any one song until every moment punches and feels right at every turn. It's always the biggest and most exciting challenge of my daily life.

Jack is one!
So patient, he's made impossible to improve our track and make it sound as it sounds now: massive!
Thank you man! - check_circleVerified
Jack is not only an incredible producer, songwriter, and guitarist but he is also a great dude. Jack is the kind of producer who will actually put his passion into your project. If you are unsure about a part or melody, he will always throw ideas out into the open. He also has an amazing band called "Dead Poet Society," so he has a great grasp on what a product should sound like in the market. I have been in music and in bands for over 10 years and this is one of the best experiences yet!

Jack is awesome, his work is clean and huge. A lot of fun to work with, I’ve already recommended him to several other artist. Awesome turn around time and great results. Fun to work with too!
Jack did a great job with my EP. He was patient with our process and did not rush any part of it. Great mixer.
Jack is really great at what he does. I've hired professionals to mix and master my songs before, and felt like they didn't really care about the product. Jack's first focus is making his client happy and the money comes second, and for that reason I'll always choose jack to help with my projects.
This guy is a natural at what he does. When I chose Jack to produce and mix my band’s first record, I could tell he was a bit hesitant, since at the time, he didn’t have much experience with funk/fusion. I trusted him anyway, having heard his work with various other genres. Jack exceeded expectations in every category. From his willingness to experiment with unfamiliar instrumentation, to his incredible dedication towards perfection and timeliness, he blew me away. If you are considering working with Jack, stop wasting time and just do it.
I've worked with Jack several times and have had no problems. He's an outstanding engineer, and one of the best rock mix engineers I've heard in a long time.
Jack spent twelve hours with me mixing my debut single. Considering his price, I was blown away with the amount of detail and devotion he put into it. 10/10
Great mixer. Worked with Jack a little while back at Berklee, he killed our single. Would love to hire him again.
Best mix engineer I've ever worked with. His ear for precision is impeccable. Helped me with my single, will use again.
Jack is the man. Not only is he one of the most passionate and talented mix engineers out there, he is also incredibly kind, friendly, and easy to work with. I've worked with Jack on multiple projects and I plan to continue to work with him. He has an ear for perfection and does not settle for just "O.K." sounds, and that's exactly the kind of person you want working on your project.
Jack doesn't just work with anyone. He is specific about choosing artists to work with, and will only take the job if he knows he can bring it to life. He mixed my five track EP, and I was blown away at the first mix. He is also exceptionally fast.
Jack was honestly the best choice I could have made as a mix engineer. I've hired grammy award winning engineers before and Jack did a better job. Very quick and easy to work with.
Interview with Jack Collins
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I typically use my Shure SM7B on vocals, and monitor through my Yamaha HS8's or KRK Rokit 5's. I have a fully treated room, vocal booth and a hefty amount of instruments for playing around with. It's an intimate setup.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm influenced by a number of modern producers, such as Dave Sardy and Mike Crossey. There aren't a lot of producers out there working with new hard rock bands looking to push boundaries, so I enjoy being in that niche.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I typically do full productions. I help the artist wherever need be, whether it's arrangement, melody, or lyrics. I generally do the mixing and recording.
