Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: Your mixes will be treated with the utmost importance and I won't rest until my client is happy with the final result

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I composed a song, called "Alone In The Universe" performed by Swedish singer Elize Ryd (Amaranthe). Also I worked with Tina Guo (Vivaldiano, Hans Zimmer) and Lara Ausensi (Ivan Torrent) on a trailer track for trailer music company Imagine Music. And worked with other great artists. Also i composed 2 soundtracks to 2 russian short films.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Working on my clients mixes and making mixing video tutorials for my Youtube channel.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Warren Sokol, Matthew Weiss and my friend Robert McClellan are amazing sound engineers on SoundBetter!

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital for now, but once i become rich and famous gonna be buying analog for sure!

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love music and music is my life. I do my best to do music for a living and always work hard and educate myself.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I usually need RAW multitracks, 24 bit, 44.1khz, wav format and would like to know the BPM of a song. And would be just perfect if you number your audio files in the multitrack and name them all.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: I'm a hardworker, i pay attention to small details and will be working on your song until it shines like a gold.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I’ve been doing music professionally since 2005, and got into sound production world since 2018 when I joined Produce Like A Pro Academy. I’ve been composing film and trailer music since 2014 for various trailer music libraries such as: Imagine Music, Velvet Green Music, Frontier Trailer Music, Synapse Trailer Music and more. I feel blessed to have collaborations with such musicians as: Elize Ryd (Amaranthe), Mike LePond (Symphony X), George Rain (Sebastien), Tina Guo (Vivaldiano, Hans Zimmer), Uyanga Bold (Two Steps From Hell, Ivan Torrent), Lara Ausensi (Ivan Torrent) and others. I do sound production mixing in a different music genres, including: Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, Pop. In 2020 I created my Youtube channel “AlexeySolovievMusic” where I make video tutorials, on mixing and mastering, plugin reviews, and interviews with big names in sound production world like: Warren Huart (Aerosmith, Korn, Disturbed, “Produce Like A Pro” Youtube channel), David Gnozzi (McSolaar, “MixBusTv” Youtube channel), Scott Elliot (“Chernobyl Studios” YouTube channel), Bob Horn (Akon, Usher, Michael Jackson), Warren Sokol (Imagine Dragons, Lana Del Rey, Method Man), Maor Appelbaum (Dream Theatre, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Sepultura, Butcher Babies), Bobby Torres (“FrightBox Recording Studios” YouTube channel), Joshua D. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Christina Aguilera - love her powerful voice and her great song so much. Eminem - feeling "connected" to his lyrics and songs, if i would be a rapper i would follow his footsteps. Jennifer Lopez - love her style, her voice and her music, super incredible talent. Also would like to work with such artists as: Katy Perry, Rhianna, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Adele, In This Moment, Arch Enemy, Butcher Babies, Slipknot, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Scorpions and more cuz love their music so much.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: From Hip Hop to Metal.

A: Mixing

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I try to bring a soul to any song i'm working on and a new unique sound.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I mix in the Box completely! Pro Tools and plugins.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Loyal to the end to a client. The thing is not about getting paid but do your work well for your clients, so my clients can have as many revisions as they want to. We will be working on the mix or master until a client is satisfied.
