Absolutely amazing producer. Definitely looking forward to working with him again!
Grade A producer. Let the man know what you like, and he'll design what you need to make the best tracks. Reached out and about to find a unique beat, and Diego's was top notched compared to the rest. Great customer service and will give you a product you won't ever forget.
I don't know about you, but working with Diego was like watching the Slap Chop infomercial for the first time. Like how Vince chopped those veggies with ease, Diego did the same with his beats. He got working immediately once we were done talking about the details and man, I forgot we were doing this over FaceTime!
We loved working with Diego! He has great productions, a very quick turnaround, super responsive, and just an all around nice guy. His ideas were very unique and really helped our song stick out from the bunch. Definitely will use again! :)
Interview with Diego Verdin
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital and I could probably write an essay why but I won't haha! Long story short digital is at your finger tips and the has the most possibilities.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Professional quality and a quick turn around!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you do make a sound/beat like X? And the answer is yes!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I think a lot of people don't understand the technical aspect that comes into production. The mixing and mastering side is very complex and requires a deep understanding of audio and years of mastery.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask who there biggest inspirations are and who they are listening to right now. The better that I can get into their head, the closer I am going to get to creating that perfect beat that they want!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Do it! You wont regret it!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Afrojack because he seems like a great musician and producer and I think we would have a lot of fun and create something really fresh!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Learn all the tools in your tool belt inside out till you don't have to think about what they do. Then, once you have mastered them learn how to break them and use them in a way they weren't intended to.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic music of course! I always like to be inspired by new things and build off the old styles I have worked on so I love to experiment and try something new!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring professionalism and high quality work that is hard to find in this industry as well as a really creative mind. I started first as a composer so I am always thinking of ways to make things cooler and help them stand out.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My typical work process usually involves starting in Ableton playing around with samples. I usually start with the beat no matter what type of project I am working on because that is the funnest part for me and gets me inspired to work on the rest of the track! Ill then go into sound design mode and think about all the sounds that I want for this project and then work on developing them. After, I move on to the arrangement and think about different sections and how everything is going to fit together compositionally. Next, I move on to ear candies, things that will tie in the production, as well as cool drum fills and FX that make everything sound whole. Last, I go through the mixing process making sure everything has its right place in the mix and finally putting it through my mastering process. (That part is my secret)
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly do production work. That means I create beats and sounds for singers and rappers to sing/rap on top of. I also do ghost production which means I also completely compose the track and bring it to the highest level. I am also a mix and master engineer and mix/master all my own tracks!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently working on my artist career looking to make my name as a DJ producer!
I was the Producer, Beatmaker, Sound Designer, Mixer, Master Engineer in this production
