Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My first single "Betta". I HAD to get out of my box. I was pushed away from fear, doubt and other mental challenges that were holding me back. I'm so proud of that single and even prouder of the second single that's currently in the works. My producer, Brian Nathan, is such a GodSend.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My 2nd single and my band's (Element XI) Album.

A: I'll promise to remain professional, respectful and respond promptly. I promise to give you a quality product in a timely manner.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That it satisfies and fulfills me! Life should be overflowing with happiness and love, so why not make a career out of something that brings you and so many others, immense joy???
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: What's my sound? - Answer: "R&B/Neo-Soul/Trap-Soul. Do you love what you do? - Answer: Absolutely. Music brings me such a spiritual and physical release for me. It's right under God with fulfillment. What advice do you have for other musicians who want to make it in the industry? - Answer: Research, have great work ethic, network, be humble and grateful for EVERY opportunity, listen, don't try to do it all on your own, work social media and be sincere and authentic.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it doesn't require skill or much time and that it's easy.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's your vision? Why are you creating this project? How would you like my talents to add to your project? How do you envision the finished result?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be very specific and thorough when explaining the vision for your project or song. If I see the passion behind your vision, it will excite me even more to execute it for you!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been professionally singing for about 24 years now. I'm an independent R&B artist, as well a touring background singer for Season 2, American Idol winner, Ruben Studdard. I love being a background singer to such an amazing artist. BGVs are such an art to perfect and I'm blessed to be able to gain experience and exposure in the industry. A: Hip/Hop R&B Soul
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen, study, break down the format, arrange vocals (if applicable), then record the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I only record vocals, GarageBand or Logic, a Groove Tube GT55 studio mic and a PreSonus AudioBox USB 96 interface

A: Jazmine Sullivan, Jessie J, Pj Morton, Justin Timberlake, Ledisi, Lucky Daye, etc.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal producing and blending.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Perform on live shows, provide session vocals for projects or demos, provide vocal producing and voice over narrations.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: As a vocalist, that's easy! My computer, mic and interface. that's all I need!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Jessie J! She's impeccable! You hear her passion and discipline with every note she shares! She tells a story through her performances and her voice is so controlled and polished!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: R&B, Neo-Soul, Funk, Jazz and Gospel. However, I'm open to other genres, I enjoy well thought out music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Life. I have a polished sound that will make most songs come alive. I have a warm tone and timbre that can fit most genres.
