Hi, my name is Gündoğdu Akın. I am a composer, singer, guitarist, pianist, drummer, songwriter, producer, teacher and a Mixing/Mastering engineer from Istanbul. What I aim to do is great music and I am excited to work with talented musicians who has great songs! I mostly specialize on Rock and Blues genres as well as Pop and Soundtracks.
My career as a Mixing and Mastering engineer has begun in 2014 and to this date I really love Mixing and Mastering! I have worked with multiple artists, with "Pro Studio Recorded" tracks as well as "Home Studio Recorded" tracks and every time I aim to please the artist, get their vision right, and deliver a professional sounding song that could shine on Spotify and iTunes. Q: How would you describe your style?
A: More like CLA's but with my own taste.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being a musician as well as a producer helps me understand the artist, what they want from the song and what I can do to make it really shine.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock music, classical music, pop, pop-rock ect.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Perspective of a musician and my style of mixing.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I make a rough of the tracks I have been given, then I would listen to the song top to bottom, after that I almost alwast start with drums then bass then other elements and at last the vocals. I do drink a lot of coffee while mixing :)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Audient ID14, Yamaha HS50M, KRK KNS8400, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Macbook Pro and a Windows 10 Tower.

A: Make sure your recordings sounds amazing at recording stage, so your mix can thrive.

A: Mostly I do rock and blues songs, but I do pop, hip-hop, rap songs also.
