Do you need your recorded tracks mixed into a record instead of a demo? You've come to the right place. I work on all genres but focus primarily on Rock and Pop. I can also take a lyrical idea and create a song for you as I have done for numerous clients. Easy to work with, fair rates and fluent in Spanish as well.

Interview with Marc G (Sonic Reality Studios)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Louder Than Liftoff Silver Bullet, Neumann mic (undecided which one, would depend on the singer I was stranded with ;-) Pultec EQ, Rev. F 1176, Clariphonic Parallel EQ
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: over 20 years
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with The Killers. They are creative giants.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: It also applies to life, If it feels right then it is right.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I don't want to pigeonhole myself because if the song is there fleshing it out is both the fun and challenge. A lot of engineers complain when they get a diamond in the rough because there are too many edits, cleaning, tuning, etc. I try not to get bogged down in that and just do my best to transform the song into its best possible version.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Seeing the big picture to focus exclusively on the artist's final product.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Energy and positivity. I also want to help the artist present their very best to the world. It literally is more rewarding than if I had released the material myself.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to have an initial conversation with the client. I really need to understand their vision and the ultimate goal of the project so I can help carry out the vision. I've often made suggestions that have enhanced the song or project and given results to the client that far exceeded their expectations. I am essentially their partner throughout the mixing, editing, producing, writing process and the end results typically speak for themselves.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a great setup that allows me to quickly move from phase to phase during the song creation or mix process to retain creativity and efficiency.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Tom Lord-Alge, Brendan O'Brien, Andrew Schepps, Andy Wallace
