Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Helping to mix songs for a client's album. He lives in another state so he is sending me songs to mix. He is a very talented young rapper and I can't wait to hear how it sounds!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I always promise to deliver a final product that they love. If there is something wrong, or something you want to change, I will keep working until it sounds exactly how you want it to.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I studied music in college and graduated with a B.S. in Sound Recording Technology. I have interned for many years and worked on all types of genres. This is my 5th year in the industry and I loved every second of it.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Make sure to. pay attention to mic placement and how your artist moves in the vocal booth. Often times they don't know to sing directly into the mic and not move around.

A: I usually work on hip-hop and R&B music.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: We have a Slate Digital VMS mic with an Avalon VT-737sp Tube Channel Strip preamp. For our interface we use an Apollo Twin MkII. We have a large selection of plugins from Slate Digital, Fab Filter, Waves, Izotope, Antares, Celemony, and more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly work with vocalists, recording and mixing both at the studio I work for and at my home studio.
