'MESMERISING' **** - The London Times. I am a UK-based composer, producer, and sound artist known for creating emotionally rich, immersive music that blurs the boundaries between genres. I craft distinctive sonic journeys by blending instrumentation, atmospherics, and a strong sense of narrative.
My 2024 album 'Through the Wave of Blue' was described by Prog Magazine as “further proof that [Clemo] operates on a higher aural plane altogether.” Merging form, improvisation, orchestration and sound design, my work spans ambient, post-rock, electronica, contemporary classical and experimental jazz.
I've had the privilege of working with artists such as Arve Henriksen, Byron Wallen, Peter Gregson, B J Cole, Cleveland Watkiss and Evi Vine, and have collaborated with legendary engineer Phill Brown (Talk Talk, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix) on several of my albums. Below is a Spotify playlist as an overview. I’ve also produced work for production libraries like Liftmusic.
I perform with my Dream Maps band, integrating immersive and interactive visuals from my Breath Project, and have been invited to present my work at TED Talks in the UK and USA, exploring the relationship between sound, perception and emotion.
I’m always open to new collaborations.

It was a very smooth and nice collaboration. Philip is a great musician, easy to communicate and work with and he came up with some wonderful ideas! We also discovered to be pretty much aligned in terms of musical and cultural references. Hope we may continue collaborating in the future. Compliments for his own musical and artistic projects!
