Such an amazing talent.Shee puts her heart in EVERY facet of her life but her music is an insight to her soul.I reached out to her about a jingle for my social media content.I wasn’t sure what I wanted but I contacted her and mentioned what I was thinking. Within the hour she texted me with a video asking“what do you think?” EXACTLY what I was looking for.In the recording process she constantly kept me in the loop.On the day of her studio time she called and was able to add some of my laughter over the phone.Just received the final product and I’m above and beyond pleased.I Highly recommend

Hella professional and easy to work with! Very creative and open to feedback, as well as providing feedback. Knowledgable in song writing, singing, and music production. Currently have her featured on an original track of mine, and back-up vocals on another track.

Interview with Sala Moon

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I composed, sang, and played the instrumentals for an introduction for a comedian. It was only 15s with an ukulele, main vocals, and BGVs - simple yet effective. The comedian said he cried when he heard it and it was exactly what he needed for his channel.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Hip Hop/Rap song for a client out in Detroit. He is one of the hardest workers out in the up and coming rap game. I can't wait to send him the final instrumental.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Analog for its sound, digital for its convenience. But if I had the choice, then analog all the way! Analog gives a warmth and quality to a song that digital just cannot provide.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: The balance. A great song works together like peanut butter and jelly - flawless sandwich.

  9. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  10. A: Look beyond people's credits and instead see what kind of personality they can bring to your music. Its all about your vision not their credits.

  11. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  12. A: I was a professional athlete for 4 years. I gave up the track and field shoes to pursue music, so you know I'm competitive.

  13. Q: How would you describe your style?

  14. A: Attention to detail. I want every instrument or plugin have their time to shine, (behind the vocal of course).

  15. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  16. A: Sza, because she is open minded and her styles are never boring to the listener nor producer.

  17. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  18. A: Never overcompress your songs, it destroys the dynamics.

  19. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  20. A: I'm not genre biased. I like perfecting a song not a genre.

  21. Q: What's your typical work process?

  22. A: Listening. Then according to what is needed work on - EQs, compression, time based effects, tuning, etc. Listen then repeat.

  23. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  24. A: Doug Fenske. His precision as an engineer and producer inspires me to create with a purpose.
