I am a performing, and recording bassist who will bring together your performance and project with a tight, and strong foundation. Your low end, and groove will be well taken care of in my hands.
I'm also a mixing engineer working in my home studio.
I'm not going to fluff this up. I've got about 13-14 years of experience with the bass guitar. I'm 27 years old and I have thousands of live performances under my belt. Sounds cool, right? Well, it's not too hard for someone who started out as a church musician.
There's a lot that I benefited from the environment that I musically grew up in. I learned how to be professional: do the home work, practice, learn new techniques, how to serve the song, learn music theory, be early to rehearsals and gigs, and always have a good attitude.
My credentials aren't all that "shiny" looking. I can't say that I've worked with all the "A-List" industry pros, and grammy winners...yet. But I can play, and record as if I have
The most notable artists that I have worked live with have been Sarah Kelly(Grammy Nominated), and Darrell Evans.
I've always loved the art, and science of sound. In Highschool I was given my first opportunities to learn it, and mix church services as a young teen. Since those days, I have developed my ear and craft, and have mixed several hundred gigs since then. In the last 5 years, I decided that I wanted to take this skill to the next level. I wanted to know how all the pros recorded and mixed their songs, and I wanted to know if I could do it too. I've poured hours of every day into research, tutorials, and learning concepts of mixing.
