Logan Dill on SoundBetter

I like to blend the digital world and the analog world to tailor the sound that my client is wanting their finished product to sound like.

I grew up traveling with my family singing gospel music in churches and started running Front of House when I was 13. Graduated three years ago from SAE Nashville and started working on broadway at Toostie's as well as on the General Jackson Showboat.

The Studio I work with is called Straight Up Sound Studios, Owned by Johnny Neel former Allman Brother. I have been working with these guys for almost 4 years now and have yet to have a client not be happy with the final tracks that we have given them.

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Both. Each one has a unique thing that it does to sound. I record everything using the digital realm but I mix in the analog world while still using curtain digital plugins to bring out what exactly it is that the client is wanting to hear.

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: It is my job to make sure that you are happy with the way your project turns out.

  5. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  6. A: I love turning what people hear in their minds, into something that they can share with the world.
