Hi y'all! I'm a Nashville based award winning songwriter, singer, and demo producer working in music for over 10 years. I create current sounding pop demos for songwriters pitching their music, as well as clean vocals for producers who need clear female vocals on their pop and country songs. Nice to meet you!
I'll turn your phone recording into a contemporary, current sounding piano-based pop demo with vocals.
If you want female vocals on your song, I got you! I'll deliver clean vocal stems, lightly pitch edited for your convenience. Lead vocals and harmonies.
• May include any combination of synths, pianos, and drums, lead vocals, light harmonies
• Revisions: 2
• You'll receive: A high quality file of the full demo, as well as the instrumental
• Includes 1 full comped vocal of your song, with light harmonies
• Revisions: 1 (message me if you'd like more!)
• You'll receive: Clean vocal stems
When you book, please message me with:
• Reference track with clear scratch vocal
• Instrumental mp3
• Full and accurate lyric sheet*
• Notes on where you'd like harmonies (or if you prefer me to write them!)
• Notes for delivery (country sound? Pop sound? Artist to emulate?)
Any demo I produce for you and anything I sing for you will be work for hire. YOU AGREE NOT TO CREDIT ME AS THE ARTIST ON YOUR SONG. I am not entitled to any royalties. I will not own any part of your composition. You will own the master and all composition and publishing.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Sarah has a beautiful voice and was a pleasure to work with. She was open to working with my ideas, but also added her own ideas for harmonies and stylistic touches. My songs are going to sound much better and more professional as a result of her vocals.
I am extremely pleased and look forward to working with her again.
Interview with Spence
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Have a developed idea of the feel you want, and a good reference track with a clear scratch vocal.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Moved to Nashville in 2012 to pursue a career in songwriting and haven't stopped singing and writing since. Now I have an EP, a collection of singles, and a collection of cuts by other artists.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My strengths vocally are country, americana, folk, or pop. I also have experience singing hip hop hooks and dance songs.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Years of studio time and training. A songwriter's ear for storytelling. I don't sound over-trained. I'm a contemporary singer and price myself on staying current with my sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Get request for vocals: A brief description of genre and feel, lyrics, and the reference track. I send the client a key. Client sends new track in preferred key. I practice the song. Get in the studio and track. I comp together my best takes and send dry stems to the client for feedback (small adjustments like additional backgrounds, different ad-libs, small adjustments) Track again if needed. Deliver the final audio files. Have a glass of wine. :)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's your vision for the song? What well known artist would you like to hear singing it? Is there wiggle room on the melody (ad libs, runs, etc.)? Do you have harmony parts in mind already, and if so, how many?
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Typically, songwriters and studios book me to sing lead and harmonies on songwriter demos. I can also provide backing vocals on artist projects.
