Producer and DJ living in Brooklyn. I co-own Ethereal Beatbox, a vinyl only record label and bi-weekly radio show. I produce what a friend has coined 'Loudly Meditative' music. Chilled back grooves and lush sounds that still hit hard and get you dancing.
I am a producer, beat maker, and mixing engineer with an emphasis on Breakbeat House but know my way around Techno, Downtempo, Ambient, Electro and can sometimes make a good Garage track. One of my favorite techniques is to take one single sound, or one 5 sec sample and use it to make an entire track, sampling the sound over and over to create everything from the drums, synths, and even sound effects. One such track is made almost entirely with an 808 cowbell sample.
I am able to take a bare-bones demo and turn it into a full track, or work with you collaboratively to give you the track you hear in your head. I have worked with guitar, bass, live drums, and piano before but excel most with programmed tracks made from samples, drum machines, and synths.
