Versatile and experienced vocalist, intuitive songwriter, and multi-genre topline artist. Creating art is what I live for. I would love to collaborate with you on your project and bring your creative vision into fruition.
I'm a trained vocalist and an experienced session singer and songwriter. I write lyrics, topline, and full songs. As a songwriter, I aim to write music that feels organic and timeless. I've worked in numerous genres: synthpop, EDM, indie, ambient, R&B/neo-soul, folk, hip-hop, pop, classical/opera, and the list goes on. My favorite projects to do vocals for are dreamwave, synthpop, chillwave, and indie folk, but I'm open to anything.

Endorse Krysta- check_circleVerified
Krysta is a very talented writer and singer and a kind and caring human being. She wrote and recorded beautiful toplines + harmonies/ad libs for 2 of my songs, and she was very polite, understanding, and easy to work with.
There were some delays in the completion of the project, most of which were outside of either of our control, but Krysta was very kind and accommodating throughout the whole project and I am very happy with the vocals that I received for my songs. All's well that ends well :)

Krysta has one of the purest and most beautiful voices I have heard in a long time. It certainly elevates my track to new heights. Highly recommended!
Interview with Krysta
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Collaborating on some music projects, improving my music theory knowledge, learning about music production, very slowly recording a solo album.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Zohara Niddam!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To make something beautiful.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Intimate indie-folk-pop-soul. Ocean-and-forest-and-moon-and-starswave.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: They are innumerable, of course. At this particular moment, I would love to go back in time and work as a group with Minnie Ripperton and Pauline Oliveros.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Songwriting: writing interesting melodies, really feeling out the song to create vocal lines that feel organic, like they naturally grow out of the music. Equally, writing and performing music that is emotional and moving.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Pretty much: creating the space, opening the door, and being present enough to allow the song to eventually emerge. It is a truly beautiful, lovely, sacred process.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Home studio. Lots of instruments. Plants. Candles. Herbal Tea. My mic and me.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Laura Marling, Pauline Oliveros, Zohara, Joanna Newsom, (early) Beach House, Solange, Caroline Polachek.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you know what you want, be clear about it, but also know that the best work always comes out of creative freedom. And please don't tell me what to write about lyrically. I'm joking...kind of.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Getting into a flow state. Creative music magic. It is one of the best places to be.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Chillwave, indie folk, synthpop, dream pop.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to bring myself to a song. If I can't bring myself, then it's a lot harder, and these days I am more likely to turn down those projects that I can't find myself in.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both are fine but honestly, there is nothing like the warmth of analog sounds.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Writing topline and providing vocals.
